So I’m afraid I’ve got some good news and some consequential bad news. The Good News.  I’ve been fortunate enough to have been a part of many incredible weddings and events in 2014. Seriously, many good times and memories. The positive feedback I’ve received via WeddingWire, social media and word of mouth from previous clients has led to many booked dates for 2015. I’m humbled and incredibly grateful. This is, unfortunately, a bit of a double-edged sword… The Bad News. As of right now, I only have a couple date remaining in November and December 2015. All other months in 2015 have been completely booked. I wish you all the best and hope to see you in 2016. In June 2014 I had the pleasure of DJing for Michael and Amanda’s wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and beautiful reception. The big day took place at Herrington on the Bay and was, for lack of a better word, amazing. Per the request of the groom Michael, I dusted off the ol’ fog machine which worked well with my lighting setup. Due to the fact that the reception was held in a large tent with good ventilation, there was no cause for concern with regards to the fire alarm being triggered–a potential disaster anytime a fog machine is used without prior technical arrangements being made. After checking out my website the other day I came to the realization that I had not posted in update in quite awhile…too long, really. Rest assured I’m still alive, kicking and busier than ever now that wedding season is about to kick into full gear. When opportunity knocks there’s never a reason to avoid answering the door…even if it means waking up at 3:00 a.m.! This past  June I was given the chance to DJ for the entirety of the Fox 5 DC Morning News broadcast and it was truly one of the highlights of my 32 years on this Earth. Aside from the generous amount of on-air time I was provided with, the cast and production staff couldn’t have been any more welcoming.
